Post-surgery FAQ

What owners ask before their first recovery session.

Can my dog use a treadmill after TPLO?

Usually yes, once your vet clears controlled exercise. That is often around week six to eight post-op. We follow the pace, duration, and incline your vet sets and log every session for their records.

Do you work with senior dogs and arthritis?

Yes. Slow controlled cardio is one of the best things for arthritic dogs when done carefully. We can run sessions at 10 to 20 minutes instead of the full 30 and adjust week to week.

Will you talk to my vet?

Happily. We send your vet a copy of the intake and every session report, with your permission. If your vet has a specific protocol they want followed we build the session around it.

Does pet insurance cover sessions?

Sometimes, when there is a vet referral for rehab or post-surgical conditioning. We provide itemised receipts and session logs. Check with your insurer directly.
